You'll be under your blankets trying to hide from the noise, like you were scared it was going to get you.
The booming noise would only be interrupted by a soft knock at your door. I wait for you to open it, wait for you to realize. We would both smile at finally meeting.
I hug your waist and pick you up. "finally.." is the only thing I mutter as I can finally wrap my arms around you. I fight back the happy tears in my eyes.
I set you back down only to pick you up once again and move to your bed. I keep you in my lap and pull your blankets around y
